James has been a chef for over seventeen years, and has worked in some of the top restaurants around the world. After training in top establishments in the North of England, he then spent three years in Canada learning his trade under some of the countries top chefs.
James then returned to the UK to become a highly successful Sous Chef at a prestigious country club in Dorset.
His career then took him to Australia, where he worked under top Australian chef Steve Szarbo at the 6* Palazzo Versace Hotel satellite restaurant 'Euro' on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
In 2007, James moved to New Zealand after being head-hunted to become Head Chef at top Italian restaurant 'Nuvolari' in Rotorua.
Returning to the UK, James finally realised his dream to own his own pub/restaurant and took over The Treguth Inn in 2011.
